Piediluco

Another truly beautiful excursion is to Lake Piediluco, near Terni, nestled among the mountains leading toward the province of Rieti. This is a relatively small but incredibly scenic lake, on whose shores lies the charming village of Piediluco, home to the prestigious Memorial d’Aloja rowing competition.

If you’re in the mood for a walk, we recommend climbing up to the fortress, where you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view. If you continue along the road towards Rieti, we suggest driving to the village of Labro, an absolute gem!
