TerniON

Once upon a time, there was La Notte Bianca—an initiative born and organized in various cities around the world. Starting in the late 1990s (with the first Notte Bianca held in Berlin in 1997), these events illuminated the night with art, music, and entertainment, aiming to showcase and celebrate cultural, historical, and artistic heritage for an entire evening.

Following the example set by Berlin, Paris, and Rome, the city of Terni embraced the Notte Bianca concept for the first time in September 2010, thanks to the initiative of the Municipal Administration and local businesses. Over time, this event has become a key cultural, tourist, and commercial highlight for the city.

Since 2010, four editions have taken place. This publication retraces the most significant moments of the 2012–2014 editions, managed directly by EVENTI SRL, Bipede Booking & Production, SNATCH SRL, and I.A. after winning the municipal bid to organize the event. Over the years, the original format has evolved, transforming Terni’s Notte Bianca into a true brand: TERNION.

Now a three-day festival, TerniON features concerts, theater performances, artistic showcases, and micro-events. With the 2015 edition, the event expands further, introducing new content, locations, and creative expressions. A major celebration of culture and entertainment, TerniON has already demonstrated its ability to engage the city’s creative and economic forces while attracting visitors from neighboring regions. More than just a single night, this festival shines a spotlight on Terni, enhancing its resources and potential.
